9th Company (9 Rota) is a powerful Russian war drama directed by Fyodor Bondarchuk, inspired by real events during the Soviet–Afghan War.

Set in the late 1980s, the film follows a group of young Soviet recruits who are sent to Afghanistan after completing their military training. What begins as a journey of friendship and brotherhood quickly turns into a brutal struggle for survival.

Assigned to defend a strategic position in the Afghan mountains, the soldiers of the 9th Company face overwhelming enemy forces in a desperate battle.

Featuring intense combat sequences, emotional performances and a realistic portrayal of the hardships of war, 9th Company explores themes of courage, sacrifice, friendship and survival.

A compelling addition for collectors of war movies, military dramas and international cinema.
