De Tweeling is a powerful Dutch-German drama based on the bestselling novel by Tessa de Loo.

Twin sisters Lotte and Anna are separated after the death of their parents. Lotte grows up in the Netherlands, while Anna remains in Germany. As Europe moves toward the Second World War, their very different lives and experiences place them on opposite sides of history.

Directed by Ben Sombogaart, De Tweeling is an emotional story about family, separation, war and the lasting consequences of choices made during extraordinary circumstances.
