Het Diner (The Dinner) is a gripping Dutch psychological drama based on the internationally bestselling novel by Herman Koch.

Two brothers and their wives meet for dinner at an expensive restaurant. What begins as an ordinary evening gradually turns into a tense confrontation when the conversation shifts to a disturbing incident involving their teenage sons.

As secrets are revealed and tensions rise, the couples are forced to confront difficult questions about family loyalty, morality and how far parents are willing to go to protect their children.

Featuring strong performances from Jacob Derwig, Thekla Reuten and Daan Schuurmans, Het Diner is a thought-provoking Dutch film filled with suspense, uncomfortable truths and moral dilemmas.

A great addition for collectors of Dutch cinema and psychological dramas.
