🎬 Morrison Krijgt een Zusje (2008) is a heartwarming Dutch family film about growing up, sibling relationships and discovering that family life can change in unexpected ways.

Based on the children's book by Koos Meinderts, the film follows Morrison, a lively five-year-old boy whose world is about to change forever.

Morrison is used to being the centre of attention at home. But when his parents announce that a new baby is on the way, he begins to worry about what this means for him.

With the arrival of his little sister approaching, Morrison struggles to understand why everything suddenly seems to revolve around the baby.

Feeling confused and left out, he finds himself caught up in an unexpected adventure.

Along the way, Morrison discovers important lessons about family, friendship, responsibility and the special bond between brothers and sisters.

Featuring charming performances, gentle humour and relatable family situations, Morrison Krijgt een Zusje tells a touching story from a young child's perspective.

🎬 A Dutch Family Favourite

Directed by Barbara Bredero, the filmmaker behind several popular Dutch children's productions, this 2008 film offers an entertaining and emotional story for the whole family.

With performances by Tobias Lamberts, Bracha van Doesburgh and Barry Atsma, the film captures both the excitement and uncertainty of welcoming a new family member.

Its themes of jealousy, growing up, love and acceptance make it especially relatable for children preparing to become an older brother or sister.

A lovely addition for collectors of Dutch children's DVDs, family films and nostalgic Dutch cinema.
