Solaris is Andrei Tarkovsky’s celebrated science-fiction masterpiece, based on the novel by Stanisław Lem.

Psychologist Kris Kelvin is sent to a space station orbiting the mysterious planet Solaris, where the remaining crew are experiencing strange and disturbing phenomena. Soon, Kelvin is confronted with a physical manifestation of his own past, forcing him to question memory, grief, love and the nature of reality itself.

Slow, atmospheric and deeply philosophical, Solaris has become one of the most influential works of Soviet and science-fiction cinema. This 2-disc edition is an excellent addition for collectors and fans of classic world cinema.
