Torrente: The Dumb Arm of the Law (Torrente, el brazo tonto de la ley) is a Spanish black comedy written, directed by and starring Santiago Segura.

The film follows José Luis Torrente, a crude and corrupt former police officer who becomes involved in an investigation into a local criminal operation. What follows is an outrageous mix of crime, action and deliberately offensive dark humour.

A cult favourite of Spanish cinema, Torrente launched a hugely successful film series and is a great addition for collectors of European comedy and Spanish films.
