Stanley's Gig (2000) is a heartwarming comedy-drama starring William Sanderson and Academy Award winner Faye Dunaway.

The film follows Stanley, a struggling musician whose life has not turned out quite the way he imagined.

Still hoping to make a living through music, Stanley finds himself facing the disappointments and challenges that come with chasing a dream.

His life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Teddy, an elderly woman with a remarkable personality and a complicated past.

Despite their differences, the two develop an unlikely friendship that gradually changes their perspectives on life.

Through their conversations and shared experiences, Stanley discovers valuable lessons about friendship, happiness and the importance of finding meaning beyond professional success.

Featuring touching performances and gentle humour, Stanley's Gig explores second chances, unexpected friendships and the power of music to bring people together.

With William Sanderson delivering a sympathetic performance alongside the legendary Faye Dunaway, this independent film offers a charming alternative to mainstream Hollywood productions.

A wonderful addition for collectors of independent cinema, character-driven dramas and lesser-known films from the early 2000s.
