What Goes Up is a quirky comedy-drama starring Steve Coogan and Hilary Duff, alongside Olivia Thirlby and Josh Peck.

Set in the days surrounding the 1986 Space Shuttle Challenger launch, the story follows journalist Campbell Babbitt as he travels to a small New Hampshire town to cover a local hero. Instead, he becomes caught up in the lives of an unusual group of high-school students dealing with their own secrets, struggles and complicated relationships.

Blending dark humour with drama and coming-of-age themes, What Goes Up offers a different kind of role for Hilary Duff and an offbeat story about flawed people trying to find their way.
